NP/PA Cardiac Surgery ICU Opportunity in Greenville, NC

ECU Health Physicians and The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center are seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Physician Assistant/Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide acute patient care in their Cardiac Surgery ICU. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Established team of experienced 8 Advanced Practice Providers and 6 Surgeons

· 100% inpatient clinical care

· Ability to work with a nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgery program that performs more than 1,000 pump cases annually

· Clinical responsibilities will include performing histories and physical examinations, patient assessments, daily patient rounds with physicians, and facilitation of pre-operative and post-operative patient care

· (14) shifts every 28 days with rotating nights and weekends

· Ability to perform ICU procedures

· ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
